What we do:
Peak Road Productions has a modest mission.We want to make movies.
We want you to be a part of it.
Specifically, we make independently financed short and feature-length films utilizing the rich production opportunities in the Hudson Valley region; including locations, products, facilities, services, and talent. We practice environmentally concious production. We welcome community participation. And we are delighted to be part of the current Ulster County film boom.
We shot our first film, "Mother's House", in early August 2010. This inaugural project stars Kathryn Erbe, Tim Guinee and a much-loved old house on Peak Road. We're proud to report that all of the background actors, half of our principal cast, and much of the excellent crew came from the local talent pool right here in upstate New York.
We think "Mother's House"is a terrific 26 minute ride... and film festival programmers agree. We've screened at some great venues in 2011, with more to come in 2012:
